Last Thursday I planned a casual, Southern themed rehearsal dinner. The client was hosting numerous guests from out-of-town and wanted to show them some good ol’ Southern hospitality! After brainstorming ideas with the client we came up with a Southern plantation theme. The navy blue gingham brought a lot of detail to different pieces of the decor and the pops of yellow throughout added the perfect touch. Custom made picture frames were placed at each table for guests to see a glimpse of photos of the bride and groom. Dinner was comfort food consisting of fried chicken and mashed potatoes, so custom placemats and burlap wrapped silverware brought the rustic theme into play. Guests were asked to sign a Jenga piece as a fun keepsake for the bride and groom. I’m still gushing over the gorgeous florals done by Stephanie of The Pearl Petal. The yellow billy balls and blue thistles accented the mini white hydrangeas perfectly. The stunning chalkboard calligraphy was done by Love Nest Creative. Check out some of the details below!
